I am your personal advocate for health. I have counseled thousands of people and have developed a unique coaching style which offers personal solutions and encouragement to help you meet your health and nutrition goals.
My approach is solution-oriented. When health is truly the goal, many solutions can be approached to achieve it. Health is a result or wonderful “side-effect” of eating well and moving your body. Other results are weight loss, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, better athletic performance, etc.
Many of us get stuck in the “diet box.” We’re either on a diet or off. We’re either vowing to stay on a plan to eat healthy or going off the deep-end. Mostly, we’re pretty hard on ourselves when it comes to what we think we “should” and “shouldn’t” eat. Face it, we like “diets” because they’re quick and don’t require any true change…because we perceive change to be difficult and stressful.
The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. No one is perfect, especially in their eating and exercise habits. Many factors influence what we eat. Work, family, friends, emotions, our food supply…the list goes on.
My job is to help you first uncover your obstacles and dietary patterns and work with (not against) them. My clients tell me how easy it is to reach their health and weight goals with the “nutrition solutions by Julie” method.
